cPanel – Make and Take Backup

One of the most important things is to make a backup of data management, as well as your hosting account. For that we as a web hosting service providers also continue to perform regular data backups.

Besides relying on passive backup service provider ( PamirWebHost ), we also provide the backup feature in cPanel hosting account data for users. Backups can be either partial data (parts only) and overall (including site data, databases, mail accounts and cPanel configuration). Check out more picks below for the backup.

  • Make a Partial Backup
  1. Use your favorite browser and log on to cPanel https://yourdomain.com:2082 , then fill in the username and password of your Cpanel account as boxes appears.
  2. In cPanel main menu, choose option Backups under Files category .
  3.  Next you simply click a button or a link provided to download the selected backup. The backup option available is the Home Directory Backup, MySQL Database Backup,Email forwarders and Email Filters.
  • Make Backup Overall
  1. Use your favorite browser and log on to cPanel https://yourdomain.com:2082 , then fill in the username and password of your Cpanel account as boxes appears.
  2. In the cPanel main menu, choose option Backups in the Files  category.
  3. Next click on the Download or Generate a Full Website Backup .
  4.  Make sure the option Home Directory selected in the dropdown menu Backup Destination, then fill your mail account in the Email Address .
  5. start the process of making its backup file by clicking the Generate Backup . The length of the process depends on the size of the backup data on your hosting account. Immediately after completion of cPanel will send the log and data information into its backup mail account that has been previously added.

with this few simple steps above, you can now create backup data independently whenever needed. If you are having difficulty doing so, please do not hesitate to discuss with our technical staff either by mail, or telephone Live Chat. Good luck.
