PHP is a programming language that runs the website . We have had a lot of scripts ready to use such a CMS ( Content Management System ), Framework that utilizes PHP as the programming language basis. The final version of PHP as of this writing is version 5.4, but not least, the web developers who are still using PHP version 4.x in its application. In the cPanel, to change the version of PHP can be done easily, both from version 5.x to version 4.x, and vice versa. Here are the steps.

1. Access to your cpanel via web browser by typing https:// yourdomain.com:2082 (change yourdomain.com with your domain, such as Pamirwebhost.com . If you experience problems accessing cpanel , please contact our support either via phone / e-mail / ticket / chat.

2. Click the “PHP Configuration” in the Software / Services on Cpanel.

3. Click on the list next to “The. Php file extension will be processed by”, you will see three options, namely PHP4, PHP5, and System Default . Select the version of PHP fit the criteria you need.Specific to System Default will change to the latest version on the server, PHP5. Click Update to execute the change.
